You will experience a 5-day intensive IFS Level 2 trainingapproved by IFS Institute with Paul Ginter as a trainer. Thanks to a highly experiential program and the priceless support of experienced Program Assistants, you will deepen and broaden your knowledge and skills of IFS therapy.
We will support you on each step of this training and we have more than 10 years of experience in organizing online live streaming training. We will send you a thorough technical guidebook and we will be always ready to help.
The training will be led by Paul Ginter. He is a licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of experience in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Paul has worked closely with IFS developer Richard Schwartz and is an IFS Senior Lead Trainer.
You will meet experienced therapists from all over the world. It will let you share your knowledge, experience and ideas, and also form relationships that can last for years. This training is not only a learning experience, it's also a social one.

IFS Level 2 trainings are the important next step on the education path that will let you master the skills needed to heal trauma, addiction, dissociation and much more.
It’s an opportunity to deepen the knowledge and the understanding of how our internal families work and what it takes to bring Self-led transformation.
What you'll learn
This 5-day IFS Level 2 Training will focus on different aspects of working with the model. You will learn how to:
- treat clients who have experienced severe trauma,
- work with internal polarizations,
- deal with dangerous firefighters,
- proceed with unburdening in complicated cases,
- work with exiles holding Legacy Burdens,
- use advanced techniques with challenging clients,
- use Direct Access and In-sight,
- work with your own therapist parts that are activated while working with a client,
- form the therapeutic relationship by deepening the participant’s awareness of, and relationship to, their own parts.
This training includes many opportunities for your own self-exploration and you will have the chance to experience all of what’s mentioned above with your own parts in the safe environment of the training itself.

Certificate
The training has 32 program hours. Participants must complete 27 program hours to receive a certificate of completion.
Training Materials
Before the training we will send you a training manual by regular mail.
- IFS Level 1 completion is a pre-requisite for this training.
- The training includes lectures, large and small group discussions, live and video demonstrations, and experiential practice groups.
- The training will be conducted entirely in English and will be interpreted into Polish. This will be simultaneous interpretation – meaning the interpretation happens in real-time, without any delay.
In group exercises both languages, English and Polish, will be used. Participants taking advantage of the discount for Polish attendees will be assigned to Polish-speaking subgroups. English-speaking participants will work in separate language groups and their sharings on the forum, as well as the trainer's comments, will be interpreted into Polish simultaneously.
Preparing for the training
IFS Institute generally suggests a gap of 6 to 12 months between Level 1 and Level 2. This allows participants ample time to:
- Integrate the skills learned in Level 1.
- Gain practical experience by applying IFS concepts in their practice or personal development.
- Engage in personal IFS work, whether through supervision, practice groups, or therapy, to deepen their understanding.
This gap ensures that participants are more fully prepared to engage with the advanced content and experiential nature of Level 2. Some people may need more time, depending on their professional background, personal integration, and experience with the model.
Meet the trainer
Paul Ginter
Paul Ginter, EdD is a private practice psychologist in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Paul primarily uses the Internal Family Systems Model in his work with individuals, couples, and families.
He is particularly interested in incorporating spiritual practices such as meditation into his work with clients.
Enrollment process
- You can sign up for the enrollment list for this training edition from October 4 to November 4, 2024.
- On November 4, we will email all individuals who have signed up for the enrollment list with a link to our Application Form. This form will help us better understand your goals and professional experience.
- We will eagerly await your completed forms from November 4 to 18.
- As an International Partner of the IFS Institute, we are obliged to organize training for participants from Poland, with 18 reserved spots for Poles.
- Once we receive the completed forms that meet the formal requirements, depending on the number of applications, we will either make the selection based on the forms or conduct a lottery to select the participants for the training. We will choose 18 international training participants and create a reserve list.
- On November 27, 2024, we will inform you about the final results via email and ask qualified persons to make the payment.

- The total amount ($2,550*) in one payment by December 4, 2024.
- The first payment ($1,000*) by December 4, 2024, and then the rest amount in two installments:
- $775 by January 4, 2025
- $775 by February 4, 2025
*Please note that regardless of whether you choose to pay the full amount upfront or in installments, the $1,000 payment serves as a non-refundable deposit.
