About this workshop:
Osnat Arbel, PhD
4-week series
Gaining confidence in your IFS skills
Research consistently emphasizes that the competence of the therapist and their confidence in the therapeutic work is facilitative in influencing treatment outcomes – the client’s healing.
A therapeutic relationship where the therapist embodies the 8C’s of the Self traits, is a key component to a successful therapeutic process.
In order to achieve this level of competence as an IFS therapist you have to:
- Work on your parts that get in the way of the therapy process and therapeutic relationship (and we all have parts that interrupt or block our Self-energy),
- Become fluent with IFS tools so you can unblend from parts that need to control the flow of the process.
Therapist parts
The IFS model allows therapists to make a U-Turn and look within at their own ecology of parts that are provoked by a client or a topic.
This allows the therapist to work with their protective system, ublending them from Self, recognizing their positive intentions, and unburdening their Exiles to reach a new degree of emotional freedom throughout the internal system.
Bearing witness to the therapist’s own burdens and unburdening them, supports the therapist at arriving at their core Self, and embodying the 8C’s and the 5P’s.
This series of online workshops will focus on the role of the therapist and the ways to unblend and unburden their system, embodying healing properties of Self energy.
The structure of this series
This series is a 4-week process based on an innovative formula. It consists of 4 recordings of workshops which you can watch without any limits.
